We're pleased to announce that we have arranged a special lecture as part of the 2025 Dulwich Festival. Rupert Dickens will present Off the Record: Album Cover Art 1950-2000 on Wednesday 14 May at 8pm in the Sixth Form lecture theatre at JAGS. Please note, some Fesival Events Guides in circulation show the venue as the Vaughan Williams Auditorium - it's not, it's the Sixth Form lecture theatre as usual.

Some of the most iconic images of the 20th century were created, not for galleries or private patrons, but for record sleeves. Album covers have been adorned by Andy Warhol, Peter Blake, Salvador Dali, Richard Hamilton and many lesser-known artists and designers. The lecture will reveal the close connections between visual and musical connectivity in this vibrant period of popular culture.
